National Unity Radio Dictation: Let’s Write Together
Every autumn, Ukrainians in different parts of the world come together to celebrate their language. The ЕС Department invites its academic community – faculty members, postgraduate students, and students – to take part in the All-Ukrainian National Unity Radio Dictation.
This annual event goes beyond testing spelling and grammar. It is an opportunity to feel connected to a wider community and to celebrate the Ukrainian language as an essential part of the country’s cultural identity.
When: 27 October 2026, Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. Kyiv time, on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language.
Radio Dictation at NURE: You can take part in the group dictation in person in Shelter No. 4 (Building I) or online via Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/ekj-vxgu-eeb

A Tradition That Brings People Together
The All-Ukrainian National Unity Radio Dictation was launched by the Ukrainske Radio team in 2000. Since then, it has become an annual tradition, bringing people in Ukraine and around the world together through the Ukrainian language and culture.
