The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 global goals defined by the United Nations as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. They cover key areas of societal development — from quality education, gender equality, and reduced inequalities to decent work, innovation, strong institutions, and partnerships.
For the university community, the SDGs provide a framework that brings together education, research, social responsibility, and the development of the university environment. Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (NURE) systematically engages with the sustainable development agenda and participates in international assessments of universities’ contributions to the achievement of the SDGs.
The Department of Economic Cybernetics and Economic Security Management contributes to this process through its educational, research, project-based, and social activities. The annual reports document specific results achieved by the department and its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the areas of education, innovation, decent work, reduced inequalities, gender equality, partnerships, and social responsibility.
