The WARN project has been extended for one year
We have received fantastic news today from The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA): the WARN project has been extended for one year, until November 15, 2024! This decision is a result of:
– recognition of the exceptional significance of the WARN project aimed at enhancing national security and overcoming the shortage of security services caused by the emergence of hybrid threats;
– acknowledgment of the quality of project outcomes: updating educational programs and developing new courses and teaching methodologies, establishing a research WARN environment based on multi-domain technological laboratory hubs to counter hybrid threats, awareness-raising efforts through LLL courses and national educational platforms, and more;
– recognition of the capability of the WARN project to contribute to the development of social resilience by raising public awareness about hybrid threats.
In the insightful words of the WARN project grant holder, Timo Tiihonen (Finland): “Project WARN is not about the changes that will happen after the war, it’s not about the changes after the Victory. Project WARN is about the changes that contribute to the Ukrainian Victory.”
