WARN team visit the European University in Coimbra (Portugal)
The visit to the University of Coimbra was a continuation of the cycle of trainings conducted by the European partners of the WARN project for Ukrainian faculty members. The visit took place between February 19 and 23, 2024. In this event, the EC department was represented by the head of the department, professor, doctor of economic sciences Tetiana Polozova and deputy dean of the ITM faculty, associate professor, candidate of economic sciences Olena Murzabulatova. Professionals from Portuguese government and teachers of two faculties (Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Science and Technology) of the Coimbra University shared their experience and knowledge. The interactive format of the trainings contributed to discussions of security topics, in particular in the following areas:
- perspectives and trends on CSDP (Common Security and Defence Policy);
- mental health and its recovery in military conflict;
- psychological monitoring and intervention in crisis;
- excellence in teaching and supervision;
- cyber security and governance in the EU.
The materials obtained during the visit will be used to update not only the project study program:
- educational and professional program “Management of financial and economic security” of the second (master’s) level of higher education, specialty 073 Management,
but also for all other educational programs according to which the EC department prepares applicants for the second and third levels of higher education, in particular:
- educational-scientific program of “Economics” of the third (educational-scientific) level of higher education, specialty 051 Economics;
- educational and professional program of the “Economic Cybernetics” of the second (master’s) level of higher education in the specialty 051 Economics.
This will contribute to the creation of sustainability and the dissemination of project results, strengthening the interdisciplinary nature of the department’s scientific research and general educational synergy between the participants of the WARN environment.
