On the November 14^th, 2019, at the invitation of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kolisnyk, Associate Professor of the EC Department and the Chair of the Erasmus + Project Jean Monnet,  made a presentation on the European Union’s Digital Single Market Strategy at the 2nd Ukrainian Industrial Week.

The second Ukrainian Industrial Week is a series of regional events,which are held by the model  of the EU Industry Day. The project enables Ukrainian companies to demonstrate their potential in the field of industrial development, establish a dialogue with government agencies and outline opportunities of cooperation with European partners.

The Erasmus + Jean Monnet team consisting of the associate professor of the EC Department Maksym Kolisnyk, Vasily Rossihin and Oksana Tsukan  attended the 30 Years Anniversary of Jean Monnet Activities conference in Brussels on the 18-19.11.2019. The event gathered around 300 Jean Monnet project coordinators from 76 countries. During the first day of the conference, the KNURE project team presented the Jean Monnet Module “The EU’s Single Digital Market: Policy, Integration and Harmonization” and got acquainted with current practices of managing such projects.

On the second day, the project team took part in discussing the EU’s educational policy perspectives at the «European Digital Agenda Studies» conference. During the visit fruitful talks were held regarding the possibilities of expanding cooperation.

On the November 26^th, the rector of KNURE V.V. Semenets visited the EC department. He met with the staff during the regular meeting of the department. Valeriy Vasiljevich Semenets spoke about the new system of financing of higher education institutions and the rating system of universities. V.V. Semenets emphasized the importance of raising the KNURE’s position in the international university rankings and formulated the tasks of the EC Department staff in the realization of the set goals. At the end  V.V. Semenets answered the questions of the staff and wished the further success.

On the 2^nd of December, 2019, Head of the Department of Licensing, Accreditation and Internal Quality Assurance System of KNURE Kornilova Yuliya and the head of  Economic Cybernetics and Economic Security Management Department Polozova Tatiana were participated in the Round Table with guarantees of educational programs of Kharkiv region Higher Educational Institutions, which was conducted with the participation of the Head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, Sergiy Kvit.

On the December 3, at the hall of «Synergy» Science Park, by the KNURE Gender Education Center, with the assistance of the Gender Culture Center and the KHODA Department of Science and Education, there was an event within the framework of the «16 Days Against Violence» World Campaign to raise awareness in issues of prevention and counteraction of all forms of violence, human trafficking, provision of gender equality and human rights.

The event was attended by students and curators of the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Economic Security Management.

The second day of work of the expert group of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.

The program of events includes: acquaintance with the Scientific Library # KNURE, a visit to the first innovative Science Park in Ukraine “SYNERGY”, a meeting with the graduates of the Financial and Economic Security Management educational program, presentation of the recommendations of the expert group on improving the  Financial and Economic Security Management educational program and the final meeting with the rector of KNURE V.V. 08.11.2019 Kolisnyk M.M., Associate Professor of Economic Cybernetic Department KNURE,  presented the project Erasmus + Jean Monet module “Single EU Digital Market: Policy, Integration and Harmonization” at the Jean Monnet  Winners Conference2019 at Kyiv National University of T. Shevchenko. The international project is interdisciplinary and linked to the specific theme of the European Union’s Single Digital Market, which was not previously reviewed by the Jean Monnet Program in Ukraine, that is a new era of European integration policy in the context of increased demand for a knowledge-based society.

Based on the results of the public inspection-competition on labor protection, according to the order №420 from 05.11.2019 KNURE, the laboratory of the Economic Cybernetics  department (cl. 202-i) was awarded the second place. Congratulations to the winners!

Work of the student scientific group
In accordance with the work plan of the scientific student group, which is headed by the professor of the Economic Cybernetics Department, Doctor of Economics, Professor Sokolova L.V., students of the ECM-18-1 group, Olga Lyubicheva and Ekaterina Moskavtsova have performed for  students of the 2nd year studying . They acquainted those present with the results of their scientific achievements, answered professionally all the questions posed.
